‘Tropic Lightning’ Division loads up aboard Navy vessel for JRTC B-roll

The USNS Mendonca, a Bob Hope-class Large, Medium-Speed Roll-on/Roll-off (LMSR) vessel, is being loaded with vehicles and equipment from the 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, on Jan. 4, 2018. Vehicles and equipment from the 25th ID shipped to Texas to be used at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana, later in the month. Soldiers assigned to the 502nd Expeditionary Terminal Operations Element and Sailors assigned to a Navy Cargo Handling Battalion aid in ground guiding and scanning vehicles and equipment prior to Mendonca’s departure.
