Sayedi Younus AlGohar explains the difference between ‘Soch’, ‘Khayal’ and ‘Fiqr’.

Main Points:

- Soch: it means thought, it comes to one’s mind without efforts or one’s control.

- Khayal: it means to ponder intentionally on a point.

- Fiqr: it is a spiritual term and it means to visualise, either your Spiritual Guide or the name of God.

- Oftentimes, you will see the phrase ‘Dhikr-o-Fiqr’. Dhikr means to make mention of God’s name and Fir means o visualise God’s name at the same time. It has the same connotation as the principle law of Islam: Declaration of the tongue and verification of the heart.
