Colombia celebrates Blacks and Whites carnival in vibrant colour

Black and white by name, but not by nature. Colombia's Blacks and Whites carnival is a riot of colour, with musicians, dancers and colourful floats filling the streets. The festivities are a blend of Andean, Amazonian and Pacific cultures, and since 2009 the carnival has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list.
