Ten Killed In Iran Protests And Security Forces Repulse Attacks

On Monday, state television reported that ten people were killed during protests in Iran on Sunday. State TV said that armed demonstrators tried to seize police stations and military bases, but were driven back by security forces. Calls for more demonstrations on Monday raise the possibility of prolonged instability. State television also said 10 people were killed in several cities on Sunday night and showed footage of damage to property.
