But al-Kahf is specifically and explicitly about the Mahdi movement and Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh) era. Dhul-Qarnayn is obviously and undoubtedly Hazrat Mahdi (as). The secret knowledge is inspired at the hearts. The honest and sincere Muslims attain the discernment to identify when the hidden knowledge . Otherwise, it is hardly possible to identify it. For example, the Mahdi movement flourishes right before the very eyes of the people, yet people fail to realize it even though it should have been realized at its early stages. This is what secret knowledge is.
