The first Malaysian-born giant panda Nuan Nuan has adapted to her new life in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The panda is expected to meet the public after a one-month quarantine at the Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas.

According to breeders at the base, two-year-old Nuan Nuan has a very good appetite even though she is in a new environment.

Nuan Nuan was born on Aug 18, 2015 to two pandas on loan to the giant panda conservation center at the Malaysian national zoo. She arrived in Sichuan on Nov 15, 2017.
