This is the moment a boy in Erie, Pennsylvania, dived into several feet of snow next to the family hot tub during the recent storm.
In the video, 16-year-old Joe Gusek takes advantage of the record amount of snow dumped on the city during a Christmas storm that has seen more than 60 inches of snowfall since December 23.
The video was filmed on Tuesday (December 26) by Joe's sister, Rachel, a veterinary student at home on winter break.
Writes Rachel: "How do us Erieites enjoy the snow storm? Go into the hot tub of course. This is Joe Gusek, my 16-year-old brother, taking advantage of our wonderful snow day, performing what I think is a perfect snow-dive disappearing underneath the 53 inches-plus of snow."
According to reports, the storm brought 34 inches of snow on Christmas Day, an all-time daily snowfall record for the city. Another 24.5 inches had fallen by Tuesday night.
