Lagarde: 'Gloomy' post-Brexit forecast proved right

IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde has defended the organisation's "gloomy" forecast for a post-Brexit British economy, as it downgraded the UK's 2017 forecast from 1.7% to 1.6%. Ms Lagarde was delivering the preliminary conclusions of the IMF's Annual Review of the UK's economy at HM Treasury in Westminster.
