A selfie video of a UK property owner who wants to let out his two-bedroom apartment in the heart of the London FOR FREE to a HOMELESS person.

Laurence Lameche, 39, owns the apartment in London's bustling King's Cross and would normally rent for around £2,000 a month.

But Lameche now wants to rent the apartment for free over the festive season.

In the video, filmed on December 13, Lameche explains that he himself was once homeless, sleeping in his car when he moved to the capital when he was 20 because he couldn't afford rent.

He says: "It's really cold right now and it's coming up to Christmas. I'm reaching out to anyone ... that could help me find someone to give a roof over their head.

"I want to give back and help someone who is homeless right now," he explains, before adding that the apartment could sleep up to four people.

He then takes the viewer on a tour of the apartment.

Applicants can apply through Lameche's Facebook post on the topic.

Lameche later wrote online: "Do you know anyone in need this Christmas? I’ve got an apartment in London near to Kings Cross Station and I want to let for FREE to someone in need.

"My name is Laurence Lameche and please help me find someone."
