Internet is required for initial setup and ivation only. After that, the Internet isnt required. Obviously, it is required if you want to stream from Netflix or any other online service.\r

Dolby Digital is supported via pass through on MKV, MP4 and MOV\r
DTS is supported via pass through on MKV.\r

Optionally, you can use a PLEX server to stream to a Roku. Youll need another computer hooked up through a router or switch. \r
