A power outage occurred at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta on Sunday, December 17, stranding passengers after a fire apparently damaged an underground electrical facility.Nearly 1,000 flights to and from Atlanta were canceled, with many diverted to nearby airports. Passengers used flashlights on their phones to navigate in the dark, and one person told CNN that the situation “felt totally apocalyptic”.The video shows passengers walking up stopped escalators.Power was restored to one concourse at around 7:45 pm, more than six hours after the outage occurred.
