Indonesia Struck By Strong Earthquake

An earthquake hit Indonesia late Friday, killed two people and injuring seven others. The US Geological Survey reported that the 6.5-magnitude quake struck the western part of Java at a depth of 91.9 kilometers. The quake was felt by residents about 190 miles away in the capital of Jakarta, where people briefly evacuated to the ground floor of their high-rise buildings.
