Edge Of Red are a 4 piece band based in Brisbane, that play a hook laden melodic style of pop rock, formerly known as Blind Chase, now with Rock Vocalist Ally Marks. The Band will be releasing their Debut EP on the 14th of October at The Zoo, Brisbane. Singer Songwriter Ally Marks, adds her voice of rock to Edge of Red. She is an innovative musician and passionate entertainer. She engages audiences with her powerful tones, her obvious passion for her music and her love of performing. She has that 'special something' and when she performs, her audience is transported to become a part of the story. Guitarist, songwriter and producer, Nathan Woodrow or "Woody" as he's known by, brings a unique blend of string work to the Edge of Red sound.
Having played in numerous bands over the past 15 years, draws his influence from guitar greats such as Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Carl Bell (Fuel), Nick Seymour and "The Edge" of U2. Stick man Luke Burton has a wealth of experience both in live and session drumming. Luke has a diverse musical upbringing, and feels the songs like no other, Luke draws on a range of influences from Punk and Metal, including Jordan Burns and Vinnie Paul and Chad Smith. Rock solid Bass man and engine room of the band Gareth David, has an ability to rip Funk-infused Rock Riffs to almost anything. 'Future Man' is also a classically trained violinist and professional sound engineer.
