Hailing from Hobart, Tasmania and described in the media as "unconventional", "theatrical" and "haunting" Enola Fall are a four piece indie band renowned locally and nationally for their intense live shows and relentless, infectious songwriting.

Their 'I am an Aerial' EP was released in April 2011 and has produced two number one singles on the chart site wearehunted.com, as well as airplay on 22 US stations.

Enola Fall have been busy gigging around Australia, supporting Sparkadia, Amanda Palmer, The Jezabels, Cloud Control, The Panics, Deep Sea Arcade, Architecture in Helsinki and Papa Vs Pretty.

With an upcoming spot at 2011's Peats Ridge Festival, and frequent touring all over the country, the band are showcasing their new songs, which have been likened to The Arcade Fire and Cold War Kids, with perhaps a splash of Tom Waits...

They are also great collaborators... the song 'I Don't Drive' has recently been remixed by Sydney local, and Enola Fall admirer DJ Soup. Singer Joe Nuttall has also co-written and recorded with renowned acts Lincoln le Fevre and The Scientists of Modern Music

As of September 2011, Enola Fall have begun recording their new EP, the follow up to 'I am an Aerial' and the second of a trilogy due for completion this year.

"For such a small island, Tasmania has a bit of a musical storm brewing, and sitting right at the centre is Enola Fall. Their soaring guitar riffs and Nuttall's distinctive voice separate them from the hoards of indie man-meets-guitar bands that fill the airwaves, while their style stretches from the darkly intense to the edgy side of folk." Scenewave

"Like their hometown of Hobart, Tasmania, it's evident that there's something decidedly unique about Enola Fall's sound... a certain edge." The Bell

"If there is one word to describe them, it is 'unconventional'. This is a band that doesn't do things by the book" andpluckyourstrings.com
