Xavi Alías és un cantautor amniòtic. Potser per la temàtica de les cançons del seu primer disc "La set de la balena" prenent l'aigua i els fons marins com a metàfora de les profunditats de l'ànima humana, escoltant-lo tenim la sensació de bussejar o, com a mínim, de tenir el cap encaixat a l'escafandra del seu univers malencònic i romàntic (en el sentit més estricte del terme). Alías ens obre la porta del seu món des d'aquest grapat de primeres cançons, entreu-hi sense fer gaire soroll i gaudiu-les.
Xavi Alías is an amniotic singer songwriter. Maybe the subjects exposed in the songs of his first album "La set de la balena" take the water and the seabeds as a metaphor of the human soul depths.
