Inspired by Julie London,Madeleine Peryoux and Chet Baker, Gráinne Cotter composes and performs music that fuses an old style Jazzy voice with contemporary pop and folk styles to create an atmospheric mood, and raw lyrics that engage with the modern audience.
Gráinne studied in University College Cork and in compliance with her love of Jazz, frequented Berklee College of Music Boston where she studied Jazz vocals and composition in more depth. Her Lyrics are crafted from personal experience, and journey the broad and complex landscape of human emotions.
