When I was 7 years old my parents bought me the movie Selena and I fell in love with it! I would watch it pretty much every day. I loved watching her grow up singing and I seriously wanted to be her. So one night that year my family was out to dinner and a band was playing, I begged my mom all night to let me get up and sing. Finally she agreed to ask, when they said yes I jumped up on stage and sang I Will Survive acapella in front of the whole restaurant. My parents were amazed, but I immediately loved it! That Christmas Santa brought me a karaoke machine and I’ve been singing ever since!
