Andy van Pop (real name Andrei Popescu), 15 years old, was born in The Netherlands from Romanian parents. Moved to Cyprus 5 years ago when he was 10.
He composed his first song when he was 12.
Andy is influenced by different cultures: Romanian, Dutch, and lately Cypriot and British (as he joins the International School of Paphos). You can recognise this international mixture in his songs and lyrics. After having his own music band for 2 years he has decided to focus on his solo career under the stage name Andy van Pop.
Andy plays piano and has also shown real talent in composing electronic music (using Ableton software). Andy is very passionate in music and has now set himself the goal of really becoming big in the music industry.
