“Adictos al Bidet” is a Punk, Ska, Reggae band from Lima, Peru. The band was formed in 2006 by vocalist / bassist Alvaro Giraldo, drummer Ernesto Velarde and guitarist Manuel Cerrutti as a jam band. Guitarrist Hernando Suarez joined the band shortly after. In 2007 they recorded their first demo combining different music styles (from cumbia to jazz and ska and reggae) and rose to popularity in the Lima underground circuit. After the demo was recorded Manuel leaves the country and the band consolidates as a power trio until now.
In this new power trio line up the band explores the punk sound and, on 2009, recorded a split with “The Muertos”. With this record the band gains much more popularity and began to have a shows all over Lima getting more fans and followers around the city. They also went to other cities like Trujillo and Arequipa. In 2011 they recorded their EP.
Now on days the band is experimenting with other styles like rockabilly. The´ve switched their electric guitars to acoustic guitars and start playing with other rhythms. They also are working in more songs for their next production.
