Among the small cadre of youngsters climbing at grades in the 5.14 range (strength level: adult bonobo monkey) Mirko Caballero stands out for his relaxed yet mature approach to his craft.
This week Mirko is in Bishop, California, home to some of the most majestic freestanding boulders in the world. It is a playground of classic problems, especially considering the highballs, and Mirko is sniffing around some of the V13s. The boy meets up with two of the world's best climbers, Michael Fuselier and Axel Ballay who teach him a little something about work ethic. Don't miss his climb of Luminance (V9) - he takes one hairy fall.
