La Nueva Invasion debuts in 2011, playing for the all the college audiences in Lima. Moving swiftly, the band rapidly becomes a reference for the independent musical scene because of their dancing rhythms and lyrics that expressed all matters that the young audiences are worried about. They identify themselves as "cumbia for the brain and feet".
Their first LP "Súbele a la Radio" was an independent production. It rapidly conquered the Peruvian audience and made the band to be considered as one of the musical revelations in 2012 for specialized press.
Finishing 2015, they've already participated in the most important Festivals in Perú, such as Selvámonos (Oxapampa), Festival Barranco Música para Todos and Chacharock (Chachapoyas). They've filmed 4 music videos and toured various cities in the country (Iquitos, Cuzco, Arequipa, Trujillo, Huancayo, Ayacucho) and also visited other countries like Argentina and Bolivia.
LNI es about to release their new record. This time,it was recorded in Argentina and was produced by El Chavez, a recognized cumbia producer in that country.
