Mosè Santamaria, cantautore mistico quotidiano, nato nel 1983 d.C. a Genova svezzato a Talking Heads, Depeche Mode e The Cure.
Folgorato un pomeriggio a rientro a casa dall'asilo da "La voce del padrone” di Franco Battiato, comincia ad ascoltare le cassette sotto i sedili della R4 rossa dei genitori e i vinili riposti sopra le mensole in salotto, così in alto e sacri, come reliquie in un tabernacolo, un vero e proprio catechismo del cantautorato e del rock '70 - '80.
Un percorso di iniziazione onnivoro, la cui peculiarità è quella di confluire espressioni artistiche, mistiche e politiche differenti in un unico bazar di parole, immagini e suoni in un epoca benedetta dal “touch screen”.
Durante gli anni dell’università partecipa ad alcuni contest su Genova e Provincia per poi aprire diversi concerti di artisti locali come Claudia Pastorino e Acustico Medio Levante; ma il vero “battesimo del fuoco” avviene nel 2009 quando comincia a farsi le osse con i primi live nei circoli e nei locali della zona.
Nel 2011 si trasferisce a Verona e grazie a una manciata di esibizioni e comparsate incrocia Martino Cuman (Non Voglio che Clara) e Marcello Battelli (Teatro degli Orrori) coi quali collabora per la produzione artistica del suo Primo album: #RisorseUmane.
Moses Santamaria, a mystical daily songwriter, was born in 1983 in Genoa, he weaned by Talking Heads, Depeche Mode and The Cure.
Going back home from kindergarten a day, struck by " Master's Voice" by Franco Battiato, he sneaking begins to listen tapes hidden by parents under the red R4 car seats, and vinyls placed upon so hight and forbidden shelves in the living room, treated as relics in a tabernacle, a real catechism about 70' - 80' songwriting and rock music.
A journey of initiation omnivore, whose peculiarity is to merge artistic, mystical and politic expressions in a same bazaar made of words images and sounds in this era blessed by the "touch screen".
He joined in some contests around Genoa and began several gigs for local artists like Claudia Pastorino and "Acustico Medio Levante"; but the real " fire baptism " was in 2009 with more live concerts in local clubs.
In 2011 he moved to Verona and while doing some performances he meets Martino Cuman (Non Voglio che Clara) and Marcello Battelli (Teatro degli Orrori ), which collaborate with him to record his first album: #RisorseUmane.
