DAYS OF CONFUSION is one of the most successful Romanian alternative metal/post grunge bands, formed in 2010 in Bucharest. The band currently consists of Cosmin Lupu (vocals/guitars), Cezar Popescu (vocals/guitars), Dan Ionescu (guitars), Andrei Zamfir (bass guitar), Alex Halmagean (drums).
So far, the band has won the prize for BEST ROMANIAN METAL NEWCOMER 2012 (by Metalhead).
Days of Confusion had released the first single/video ‘Meta’ on November 16th 2012 (BlankTV premiere), receiving numerous positive reviews. ‘SEEDS’, the band’s debut material was officially released on November 29th, 2012 - a 6 track EP which was very well received by the public and the press in Romania and outside the borders.
The second single/video - ‘BLOODSTREAM’, was released on January 23rd, 2014. It is a cover version of the song written by the British trip-hop group, Stateless.
The following single/video from the album that the band is currently working on - ‘DHARKATA’, was released on April 2nd, 2015. The song marks the band’s evolution towards a slightly different lyrical and musical approach, in comparison to the previous materials.
Days of Confusion’s most recent single/video release, is called ‘ETERNAL SUMMER’ and it represents a tribute to their friends who lost their lives in the horrible fire that took 64 lives and wounded twice as many, on October 30th 2015 at the Colectiv club in Bucharest. The single/video was released on April 17th 2016, marking the band’s collaboration with Universal Records, with whom Days of Confusion will also release their album in 2016’s autumn.
