An R&B funk band with a fresh Miami vibe, Alayo, Big Rod 305, Chef Cobbler, Richi Hermans and Zaid make up "The Nostalgic Minds.”
Alayo — the band’s founder, lead vocalist and songwriter — is known for crafting beautiful melodies and relatable lyrics that helped her win a nomination at the 2014 American Songwriting Awards, and other accolades. She is currently studying Artist Management at Berklee Online and is affiliated with Grammy U.
The group has been playing together for about a year at numerous venues in the Miami area and just recorded a new EP that is set to be released later this year.
