Marie and the Sun is a neo soul band mixing black and electronic atmospheres. Their music is inspired to great soul artists such as Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse and other electronic soundmakers of international scene as James Blake and Flying Lotus.
Their first studio album, an EP of six songs in Italian, was arranged and produced by beatmaker Natty Dub from Funk Shui Project, and combines contemporary sounds with italian lyrics.
