PRESENTED BY NICK STUBBLEFIELD

A year ago, London-based singer-songwriter Bruno Major embarked on an unreplicated artistic experiment: to write, produce and release a song every month for one year. In September, he digitally released the fruit of his experiment: the achingly vulnerable, 12-track, R&B-inspired collection of songs: 'A Song For Every Moon.' The multi-instrumentalist got his start as a session guitarist, backing other musicians' gigs and recordings, but since the release of 'A Song For Every Moon' — which has gained rapid word-of-mouth momentum, now tallying over 40 million streams — Bruno has taken center stage. Most recently, Bruno made his U.S. debut with a run of sold-out shows in NYC and LA and announced a 14-date headlining North American tour including stops at Bowery Ballroom in NYC, the Masonic Lodge in LA, and the Constellation Room at the Observatory in Santa Ana.

The London-import has a genre-defying sound somewhere between Nick Drake, James Blake, Rhye and D'Angelo, with a little Chet Baker mixed in. This versatility shines through on 'A Song For Every Moon,' which reveals Bruno's changing inspiration over the seasons, as he travels from the blissful futuristic soul and skittering beats of piano ballad, "Wouldn't Mean A Thing," to "Cold Blood"s pulsing electronica, to the minimalism and sub bass warmth of "There's Little Left," to the jazz-flecked finger picking and layered harmonies of "Second Time." Bruno's been called "a songwriter changing and moulding traditional writing like play-doh” (DIY) who "opens himself up like few artists are able to do" (NME) and an artist "building momentum with his soulful pop sound" (Pigeons & Planes).

'A Song For Every Moon' is streaming now and will be available on limited edition 12" vinyl and CD on November 17.
