Björn and the Sun is a soulful folk-blues duo consisting of Davey Donaldson and Amanda Björn. After meeting in Los Angeles and discovering their passion for songwriting, they set off to adventure all across the world in pursuit of the music they love. Inspired by their travels, they fuse the best of California folk with Nashville soul into their music. Their unique style is captured perfectly within their debut E.P. "Young and Restless," recorded at the Bomb Shelter with Grammy Award-winning Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff) along with the help from some incredibly talented Nashville players. Continuing the work they started in Nashville, their new batch of songs drive home an authentic message about the struggle and joy of following your heart.
