Renato Pessoa is a singer and songwriter from Sao Paulo.
He has a family musical tradition and considers a strong influence of the regional baggage that Dona Madá (mother) native of Rubim (MG), transfused orally in the senses and knowledge of singing, which brings the appeal of the traditional manifestations of the Jequitinhonha valley region.
He studied the erudite singing in private regime and popular singing in the Etec de Artes in Sao Paulo. Currently develops and studies independently, participating in classes, workshops, and experiences with several artists working in the current Brazilian cultural scene, among them Renata Rosa (Sao Paulo - Pernambuco), Maryta de Humauaca (Argentina), Sergio Pererê (Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais).
