Earlier this year Tom Randall succeeded in making the second climbing ascent of Sam Whittaker's Wimberry masterpiece, 'Appointment with Death', E9 6c (see UKC News Report).

The climbing route had stood unrepeated for around 10 years; its location on the wild Wimberry buttresses, combined with the difficult nature of the pebble pulling climbing (and maybe the name) had put people off climbing the route.

Niccolò Ceria (19) from Valdengo Italy just came back from his first trip to the popular bouldering destination of Rocklands, South Africa.

He was able to climb over 20 lines and see how he fared.
