A former Today Show production assistant wrote an essay for Variety to describe just how Matt Lauer lured her for hostage-style sex in a dressing room.
At the time she was 24 and she asked Matt for career advice and he took her to lunch and began to hit on her.
He then texted for her to meet him for sex in a studio dressing room… but she ended the relationship weeks later after he asked her to meet up for sex in a bathroom at a convention center in California during the DNC.
She says the situation really took its toll on her, changing her physically and emotionally. She said fear crept into her life and any confidence she had was completely gone.
She even wrote about the hidden button under his desk that would close and lock his office door.
All in all it’s a horrifying tale and she said Matt preyed on the most vulnerable and least powerful.
