Awesome video of a ten-year-old Australian girl demonstrating how to catch beach worms.

The footage, shot at North Haven Beach, NSW on December 15, shows Mikalah Strickling catching beach worms with a piece of fish and worming pliers.

"Using some smelly dead fish in an old stocking she releases the smell into the water. The buried beach worms raise their heads out of the sand in order to catch some food," her father Jacob told Newsflare.

"The worms are further enticed by a pilchard held even closer and when they protrude enough, Mikalah uses some special worming pliers to grab the heads firmly."

"Beachworms can grow up to 1 metre long and be as thick as a finger. They make excellent bait for fishing," he added.
