The FCC is voting to repeal net neutrality

The FCC is meeting Thursday at 10:30 AM to vote on a repeal of net neutrality rules. The repeal would likely result in higher internet prices and fewer choices for consumers. A repeal would create a new environment for internet service providers where they will be free to commoditize the internet by slowing down content, charging more for access to certain sites and charging users or companies for “fast lanes” to some sites. The meeting is scheduled to last two hours.
