Citizens in the India's capital took to the streets of Delhi's Parliament Street on December 13th to protest against the increase in the number of lynching acts especially in Rajasthan. This protest was held in light of the recent brutal murder of Afrazul, a migrant worker from West Bengal, who was hacked with an axe and then set on fire on the pretext of love jihad. The murderer not only killed Afrazul in the most brutal way possible, but also made a video of the act and released it on social media with a message saying that all muslims indulging in love-jehad would face the same fate.
