Boosting Penang's potential for business events

The Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) returned with the second edition of BE@Penang, which was held at the Setia Spice Convention Centre last week.
Themed "Be Empowered" and co-organised by PCEB and Anderes Fourdy, one of Malaysia's leading PCOs, the conference featured big names in the international and local business events industry.
This year’s programme delivered new insights on topics such as destination positioning, collaboration, bid preparation, experiential travel, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, technology and media management.
Over 200 participants, including those from Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore, and the Philippines, attended the event, doubling the first year's head count.
