Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations, Batali Takes Leave

According to a report published Monday on Eater, four women have accused Mario Batali of sexual misconduct going back over the past two decades. In the wake of the newly resurfaced reports, Batali will take a leave of absence from his position at Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group, a management company that supports over 20 restaurants, and ABC has also asked the chef and restauranteur to step away from “The Chew,” the daytime show he has co-hosted since 2011.
