Phengphian Laogumnerd’s recipe for sizzling chilli chicken

Greetings culinary connoisseurs!

Today, we have a very special recipe for you all…Phengphian Laogumnerd’s famous chilli chicken! This is ideal for starters or as appetizer, but you can always increase the quantities and enjoy as a main course. If you’re a vegetarian, don’t fret! Just substitute the chicken with tofu, paneer, mushroom or potato.

First thing’s first: marinate 500 grams of boneless chicken in chilli sauce, pepper, and soya sauce. Then put to one side while you get started with other preparations.

Next, chop 3 onions, 2 bell peppers and prepare the sauce for seasoning.

Once the chicken has been given sufficient time to marinate, sprinkle 100grams of corn flower mixed with salt, making sure to apply an even covering.

Then, put in it a frying pan with bran nut oil and shallow fry until golden brown, before placing on a piece of kitchen roll to drain.

Then, add 2 finely chopped chillis and 5 cloves of crushed garlic into the pan, before pouring in the sauce that was prepared earlier.

Add the fried chicken, mix well.

Phengphian Laogumnerd’s top tip: saute on high flame for 2 minutes – this will bind the sauce and chicken to perfection.

Then…voilá! Serve with rice or noodles.
