New supply of malls puts pressure on retailers

Around RM50 billion ringgit worth of shopping malls are likely to be built in Asia before the end of the decade. In The Klang Valley, a strong supply of shopping mall space is forcing existing retailers to open up additional stores, although this may not translate into higher profits.
