There's a new world's fastest car. The Koenigsegg Agera RS topped out at 284 miles per hour, which is faster than a passenger plane during takeoff. The previous record for the fastest car in the world was held by the Bugatti Chiron, which clocked in at 267 mph. The Agera RS weighs in at 3,000 pounds and has a twin-turbocharged 8-cylinder engine that can pump out 1,360 horsepower. That's the equivalent of 11 Toyota Prius combined. To drive a Koenigsegg Agera RS, it would cost you $2.1 million.
