On a bush-walk through the Australian outback in 2013, Anthony Gill and his two dogs encountered the marsupial in a pond.
Max the Great Dane couldn't contain his excitement and bounded over to investigate but the kangaroo repeatedly lunged at him and tried to dunk him under water.
'The dog was fine', according to Gill who had to go rescue Max from frosty encounter.
