Trump Pushes For Travel Ban, Border Wall After Egypt Attack

In the wake of the massacre in Egypt on Friday, President Trump pushed
for the border wall and travel ban.

In the wake of the recent attack on a Sufi mosque in Sinai, Egypt that claimed over 235 lives and left more than 100 people injured, President Trump pushed for the U.S.-Mexico border wall and travel ban.
"Will be calling the President of Egypt in a short while to discuss the tragic terrorist attack, with so much loss of life," Trump tweeted on Friday. "We have to get TOUGHER AND SMARTER than ever before, and we will. Need the WALL, need the BAN! God bless the people of Egypt."
In an earlier tweet, the president had denounced the massacre.
"Horrible and cowardly terrorist attack on innocent and defenseless worshipers in Egypt," Trump wrote. "The world cannot tolerate terrorism, we must defeat them militarily and discredit the extremist ideology that forms the basis of their existence!"
The killings were reportedly carried out with the use of bombs and guns and amid Friday prayers, notes the BBC.
No group immediately came forward to claim responsibility.
"The worshipers at the mosque were Sufi Muslims, who practice a mystical form of Islam that some orthodox Muslims and Sunni extremists consider heretical," according to the New York Times.
