Winter has come to Yellowstone park, and all the animals are making their final preparations for the winter.except for two curious little bear cubs, Chinook and Natomi. They are too full of energy to want to go hibernate. When kindly Ranger Smith tells them about Christmas, then they definitely dont want to go to bed!\r
The two cubs sneak out from their cave while their mother is sleeping. While outside they enjoy their first snowstorm and try their hand at ice skating. They also go to the rangers cabin so they can find out more about this mysterious Christmas, and Santa Claus.\r
Their mother is furious when she finds out about the ranger filling her cubs heads with ideas. To placate her, the ranger agrees to dress up as Santa so the little cubs wont be disappointed on Christmas Eve. But a mysterious visitor comes to the cave instead, teaching them all about the magic of Christmas.
