Amstrad PDA600 Penpad Review

  • 7 лет назад
Way back in the midsts of time (early nineties) the mighty Alan Sugar set his Amstrad empire to work creating an electronic Filofax. The results of their labour was the Amstrad PDA600 Penpad.\r
\r
Like an Apple Newton but even worse, the PDA600 offered basic functionality at a terrifying price. Well, until you started trying to get it to recognise your handwriting, at which point it changed from basic to useless.\r
\r
Shunned by consumers and given away for a song in Tandy, the PDA600 has faded into obscurity. But then I bought one off eBay and made a video about it. Sorry.\r
\r
On the plus side, you can learn quite a lot about the way plastic degrades over time from this video.\r
