Rosie O’Donnell Talks Whitney Houston’s Sexuality

Rosie O’Donnell opened up about Whitney Houston’s rumored romantic relationship with her longtime assistant, Robyn Crawford, saying "everyone sort of knew it." The late singer’s alleged romance with Crawford was described in the Showtime documentary "Whitney: Can I Be Me," which aired in August. According to the documentary, Houston's close friendship with Crawford led to trouble in the Grammy winner’s marriage to Bobby Brown. Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother, said in a January 2013 interview that it “absolutely” would have bothered her if her daughter was a lesbian. Whitney died at the age of 48 in February 2012.
