Transformable Kre-o Optimus Prime

These frickin cool kre-o transformers sets are on sale at Mr Toys in Australia, so I grabbed one for $29 (down from $129, which means I have $100 to spend on ps3 games!). I hadnt built anything with lego (or Kre-o for the purpose of this video) since I was maybe 12 years old, I cant believe how much fun it is STILL?! What the heck! \r

But dissapointingly of course, they dont ually transform once theyre in bot or vehicle mode. But of course thatd be a tricky thing to produce for Hasbro, I still wish they could have though.\r

I came down with a flu thingy for about 12 days and with all that resting time at home, I set myself the challenge of re-building my own build of optimus, with the goal to make him transformable. \r

So I went and bought a SECOND kre-o optimus prime set to give myself more hinges and spare parts. \r
\r
I went through multiple leg sections, a whole other chest and red bonnet hinged chunk section all the while still thinking it probably wasnt possible, but that was before finally hitting paydirt with the final design and it all worked out.\r

I cant tell ya how great it feels that after like 3 days, and maybe 15 hours total, to have it all work out. \r
