Stunning footage of a flock of thousands of starlings flying above Sunbiggin Tarn in Cumbria, UK.

The video, shot on November 8, shows the murmuration swirling in the sky at dusk.

"It is a wonderful place to witness this spectacle as the huge flock of starlings perform their aerial acrobatics against the evening sky," the filmer wrote online.

"The number of birds in this roost will increase as birds from the continent will move to the UK to enjoy our milder climate."
