We've seen drone proposals but nothing quite like Steven Ystebo's surprise to his girl Carrie Stavenger. After mentally preparing for nine months and 30 hours of manpower, Steven began to create the underwater message, "Carrie Will You Marry Me? #YES2YSTEBO."

Steven took Carrie out for a pontoon picnic with his drone nicknamed Pali. Pali was a replacement for Gary, Steven's drone that was originally lost in Hawaii. He purchased another drone, Gary #2, and had a friend fly it over to the pontoon with a note taped on it, instructing Carrie to fly Pali to specific coordinates for a special scavenger hunt. Finally, Carrie saw the message and said yes with a little bit of happy crying! Clever, huh? The two will be getting married on August 18, 2018 on the shore of the same lake where the proposal happened.

This next proposal is the farthest from traditional, so much so that you won't expect it. Janine and Rich are hanging at their local pub in British Columbia, dressed in costumes for a Halloween party. Janine is up on stage, singing "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison, a very intentional choice. When she finishes, she speaks of her love and appreciation for Rich and doesn't it sound an awful lot like she's about to propose?!
