Police drag Catalan protesters along ground

Dramatic footage has emerged of Catalan police forces dragging protesters across the ground in Barcelona to empty a road that had been blocked during today's general strike.

The video, captured this morning (November 8) during a strike by Catalans against actions by the central government in Madrid, shows demonstrators sitting on the ground shouting 'Podeu popular' (People's power) while local police pull protesters one by one out of the road so that traffic can pass through.
