Let’s not pretend, everyone loves fried chicken. Follow these quick and easy to follow steps and you’ll be crunching a fried delight just like Momma used to make. Start to finish in under 15 minutes, we like to double up on the portions to plan on a lot of overeating, it’s that good.Ingredients:1lb chicken thighs (cut into medium size pieces)2 tablespoons of soy sauce1 tablespoon cooking wine1/2 teaspoon of sugar1 teaspoon 5 spice powder1/2 tablespoon chopped ginger1 tablespoon chopped scallions1 egg yolk3 tablespoons cornstarch Preparation:Step 1:Add cut chicken into large mixing bowlAdd soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, 5 spice powder, ginger, scallions, egg yolk, and cornstarch.Gently mix.Step 2:For extra crisp (highly recommended), roll each piece in flour.Heat cooking oil in frying pan at Medium-high heat.Deep fry until golden brown, remove, and let it rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
