Welcome to the biggest open market in Asia. With over 27 sections and more than 8,000 stalls, this weekend market is the best place to acquire a variety of unique items at the best prices in Bangkok. Only open on the weekends, Chatuchak Market or referred to as JJ by the locals, is your bazaar for fabrics, furniture, food, flowers, fish, antiques, contemporary art, books, apparel, knock of gear, household items and even live animals. Whatever your wish, you can find it at the JJ market and rub shoulders with locals and tourists alike. Pro tip: Traffic can be a monster getting to the northern outskirts of Bangkok so it's worth taking the metro that drops you off right out front. Happy shopping.
