00:00Hi all!
00:01If you recorded video with Sony cameras
00:06then you noticed that the camera splits a long video
00:11into fragments of 2 GB
00:14The camera does this because the FAT32 file system limits the file size to 2 GB
00:21As a result, you get several 2 GB files
00:25When we start editing the video
00:28with these files in FCPX
00:31then we get a problem - a hole in the audio track
00:37Here you can see this audio gap
00:42And it turns out such an unpleasant situation:
00:49the child tells a poem and the sound is interrupted
00:53So what do we should do?
00:56There are two ways to glue video clips:
00:59First, we can use app Sony Play Memories
01:03But this app is uncomfortable and works very slowly
01:06And if you have already copied video files to your Mac, you can't glue them together with this program.
01:13In this case, we will be helped by the TSMuxer app.
01:19This program is free and works on Windows, Linux and MacOS
01:24We go into the search in the browser and download the version for MacOS
01:35Download version for Mac OS, open it
01:39open it in the Finder and copy it into the programs
01:43And open this app
01:45Open in any case
01:47So, what do we see? On the screen is such window
01:50What do we need to do? - First we need to add a file.
01:54Choose our file
01:56I copied the files to the SSD drive
02:00to do this faster
02:03Opened the file
02:04And then all the subsequent files we need to join
02:08Press "JOIN" button
02:11And open next file
02:14Next we need to select the video format that will be understood by the FCPX
02:19We use the M2TS type muxing
02:23Have chosen this format
02:25And then press the "Start Muxing" button
02:30The process of gluing files is fast enough
02:35You see that two files of 2 GB each are processed fairly quickly
02:44In this process transcoding does not occur and the quality of the original video is not degraded
03:03The program has finished gluing files
03:07Press "OK" button
03:09Close TSMuxer app
03:14We go in the FCPX
03:18Create a new project
03:27Created
03:29Import the resulting file
03:33The file is on the desktop
03:40Now we take our file, which we got after gluing in TSMuxer
03:47Drag the file to the story line
03:50Open projects
03:52Open old project with the sound gap
03:54We look how it was in the old project:
04:04In the new project, now like this:
04:11That is, you can see that there are no hole in the audio track and there is no desync of the sound track
04:18I hope this video was useful to you
04:20Bye!
